On Sunday 11 June, 16 of our employees took part in the Swansea Half Marathon to raise   money for Macmillan Cancer Support who have been instrumental in providing support to one of our colleagues who was diagnosed with cancer last year.  

Without doubt the last 6 months have been incredibly difficult for our colleague but he has fought hard, remained positive and we are delighted to be able to say he has been given the all clear. 

A tremendous effort by all our runners, some personal bests, some first timers, but everyone succeeded and  crossed the finish line.  I know our colleague would have been in their thoughts when the going got tough. Congratulations and thank you to you all.  

The donations we received through their participation amounted to a whopping £1,200.00.

Morgan Marine have matched this amount giving us a grand total of £2,400.00 towards the charity.
