Multiform Construction Moulded glass reinforced Polyester composite using self-extinguishing, fire retardent resin, tested to BS476: Part7, Class 2. Designed to comply with CP3: Chaptert 5/BS6399 Part 1, 1984 wind, snow and seismic loadings, with life expectancy of thirty years. Standard fixing is through heavily reinforced internal flanges by rawbolts onto prepared bases by others, external flanges are available. Multiform Doors (Clear Opening,no centre pillar). Single Doors: 500, 750 and 1000mm wide. Double Doors: 1000, 1250, 1500, 1750 and 2000mm wide. Wall dimension must exceed door width by 250mm. Door heights: 1500, 1750, 2000, 2500mm. Internal height of housing is required to be 150mm more than the door height. Special door sizes may be quoted on request. Doors can be fitted in any wall, centrally or in any position not less than 125mm from a corner. Standard doors are reinforced to provide a high level of security, and are dust and weather-proofed to IP54 in accordance with BS4590: 1977,IEC.529: 1979 and half-hour fire resistance to BS476/1972, Part 22. Higher performance doors to protection classifications IP55 or IP65, fire resistance of one and two hours designed to comply with BS476/1972 Part 22. Special Security doors are available on request. Electrics All the electrical installations are carried out in accordance with current IEE regulations, encompassing domestic to Zone 1 as required. Customers equipment can be installed at Morgan Marine if required. |
Environmental Control Static ventilators ranging in free airspace from 0.013m2 to 0.5m2 are available in the following variety of styles: Stainless Steel lovered, hooded mesh-backed, PVC coated or mild steel, roof mounted, mushroom, under-eave, GRP block and GRP blade louvered. Forced ventilation via fans, heating, air-conditioning and de-humidification to customer specification. Insulation Standard Composite core construction U-value 2.2W/m2/deg C and roofs 0.3/m2/deg C. Sound Attenuation Standard composite core construction with 0.5% floor plan area ventilation offers 24 dBA nominal acoustic performance over centre band frequency range, 31.5Hz to 16kHz. Other standard levels of attenuation offered are: 30, 40 and 50 dBA nominal acoustic performance, higher levels can be acheived. In addition, we can manufacture to British Gas Engineering standard for Acoustic Enclosures, BG/PS/E25 Part 2. Fire Resistance Standard fire resistant composite construction has been tested to BS476/1972 Part 22, and exceeds a half-hour fire rating. Fire resistance of one and two hours designed to comply with BS476/1972 Part 22 can be offered. Explosion Relief Explosion relieving roofs and panels are used to safely discharge the effect of the ignition of an inflammable mixture from within an enclosure, notably for British Gas or Regional Electric Companies. These conform to the relavent specifications and tests have been successfully completed for both types of explosions. |
