2010 Morgan Marine GRP LPCB Rated Security Housing

Morgan Marine is proud to announce we have recently passed testing with BRE and have achieved LPCB SR level 2 and 3 with an enhanced GRP construction. We are the only GRP manufacturer to have attained this prestigious status and feel it will revolutionize the way the Water Industry views its security requirements, in giving an option not previously available.

We are not limited to building size and can offer from approx 1m2 upwards to meet whatever our client’s requirements are in size of enclosure.

We are currently completing the certification process with BRE and will be uploading our certificates to the website in the near future.

We also supply steel LPCB rated enclosures via our sister company PSF Wales Ltd who hold SR level 2,3 and 4 for any building size, and both single and double doors.

2010 Morgan Marine Support fund raising day

A member of Morgan Marine's Ltd prestigious site crew took part in a fund raising golf day in support of act(Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust) on the 4th June 2010. Site Manager Kevin Howells(picture on the left) was chosen to head a team of three during the charitable Golf day which took place in Maldon, Essex. Over £11,000 was raised for the charity.

Morgan Marine Ltd has once again established it's pedigree as a top supplier to Scottish Water. Topping the Procurement Capital leader board with its supply of GRP and Steel enclosures. Suppliers are assessed and scored on all elements of services from design, through manufacture and installation.

2010 Morgan Marine Ltd Launches new range of GRP Enclsoures explicitly designed to house rack mounting equipment. These robust GRP enclosures can be used to house an array of rack mounted equipment and offer superior protection to harsh exterior conditions. The company has already secured a large order for it's rack mounting cabinets and demand continues to exceeded expectations.

Morgan Marine has reached a significant milestone in reaching 45 years continuous manufacturing in the GRP industry. This has been achieved through continuously striving to attain the highest quality of product, service and flexibility to meet all our client’s needs. This remarkable accomplishment has been achieved and supported by a management team and workforce that have consistently performed at their best over the past 45 years.

Last working day lost throught accident or injury
A new Occupational Health and Safety landmark has just been attained at Morgan Marine limited. Through consistent focus by personnel at all levels, but primarily by the shop floor teams the company are extremely pleased to announce that the milestone of 1 year has elapsed since the last lost working day through injury or accident has been achieved. In addition to this the last reportable RIDDOR accident also exceeds the working calendar year, setting new company records of which the whole company are very proud indeed. In a manufacturing facility where well over 90% of activities are manual by their very nature then attaining records like this requires dedication and consistency of effort on the part of all involved.  

 

Deputy Minister for Skills John Griffiths visits Morgan Marine

The Welsh Deputy Minister for Skills visited Morgan Marine on the 4th of November 2009. The company which has successfully ridden the storm of the worst recession in living memory was extremely pleased to see the minister in this quiet but industrious corner of West Wales. The visit by the Deputy Minister was planned to enable the minister to see for himself how Morgan Marine has taken advantage in this very difficult period to enhance the training and skills of its workforce.

As the Minister's portfolio would indicate the skills of Morgan Marine personnel was the major topic of discussion and of great interest to Mr. Griffiths. The company is currently up-skilling it's whole workforce in collaboration with Colegsirgar at both the Vocational level for shop floor personnel and as part of a Business Improvement Training programme (BIT) for administrative staff.
