Morgan GRP are proud to announce that they are enjoying increasing sales and higher profits and have moved from 200th position to 179th position in the Wales Business Insider’s top 300 welsh companies.  A big thank you to all staff for making this possible.



April 2013 - BREAKING NEWS

Morgan Marine is pleased to announce it is has achieved BRE approval for its range of environmentally friendly GRP LPCB security rated enclosures. We are please to offer our complete range of GRP Enclosures in a range of finishes: textured, wood grain, stone and brick effect to LPCB levels 2 and 3. We are also able to offer steel buildings to LPCB Certification level 4.







April 2013 - COUNTER TERROR EXHIBITION STAND

Morgan Marine is pleased to announce it is experiencing a very high volume of potential customers at their stand (E82) at the Counter Terror Expo 2013, currently being held at the Olympia London W14 8UX.  The exhibition is running from 24th - 25th April 2013, so come along and visit us, we would love to see you.

April 2013 - EXTENSION TO FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT

Morgan Marine Limited is pleased to announce that it has been successful in securing an extension to both it's current framework agreements with United Utilities. They were keen ensure continuity of supply for all their GRP and Steel kiosks until the end of this current AMP in 2015.

Jan 2013 - A GOOD YEAR FOR MORGAN MARINE LIMITED

Morgan Group Ltd is a major employer across South West Wales, based in Llandybie and Llansamlet, saw profits rise throughout 2012 despite the still tough trading conditions.  This was achieved by cutting costs where appropriate, making the business leaner and efficient to provide a stable platform for expansion once the economy recovers.  The Company employs more than 250 people across the Group producing Glass Re-enforced Polymer and steel enclosures.  The 2013 future strategy for the Company will be to expand sales in growing markets..



Dec 2012 - 2012 Charity Donations

During 2012 the Company donated £11,000 to local organisations and individuals who work within our community.  Many  of these donations were made over the Christmas period with significant amounts going to Wales Children Air Ambulance, Christmas appeal for underprivileged children and Cash for Kids.


July 2012 - LLandybie Based Morgan Group Staff Get Their Own Back

Morgan Group staff got together on Saturday 28th July to get their own back on the Group Managing Director Martyn Ingram. Martyn took 30 of his staff from each of the four companies (Morgan Marine Limited, PSF Wales Ltd, Envico Engineering Limited and Envico Specialised Mouldings Ltd) to encourage team building and as a well done for all their hard work and commitment.
Bacon sandwiches were enjoyed before the gruelling 3 hour battle commenced. The battle results were a resounding draw with many war wounds and battle bruises to prove it. A great day!!

June 2012 - Suppliers and Customers Golfing Day

At Morley Hayes near Derby two Companies from the Morgan Group (Envico Engineering and Morgan Marine) joined forces in the OMYA’s customers and suppliers golfing day.  Teams were mixed and proudly two members of the Morgan Group formed part of the winning team .  OMYA have provided “mat” GRP products to the Group for decades.  A good day was had by all!..

June 2012 - Working Hard and Playing hard Morgan Marine and Sister Company Envico Engineering

On 1st June Morgan Marine and Envico Engineering both enjoyed a team building charity football match.  The teams battled it out on the pitch with end to end entertainment.  It ended with Envico just managing to pinch the result to a 5-3 victory.  A post match buffet was held, where inter-company bonds and friendship were matured.  The occasion was well supported pitch side and later at the Ammanford Cricket Club which was an extremely enjoyable success.  A total of £340.00 was raised for cancer research.  Martyn Ingram the Group Managing Director said “Its good to know we can all work hard and play hard together, while raising money for a charity close to our hearts”.
A special thanks to Deighton Hughes, for letting us use the Astro turf pitch and for "Tosh" for arranging the buffet and bar keeping, Ammanford Cricket Club for the use of their sports facility and Morgan & Morgan Office Group for providing the 1st prize in the raffle.

March 2012 - GRP Removable Roofs to LPCB Standard

Morgan Marine has tested its new design of removable roof to LPS 1175 SR3, the new features will make it the most user friendly system available in the market place.



March 2012 - GRP Doors to LPCB Standard with Multiple Lock Choices

Morgan Marine has successfully tested  a range of GRP doors to LPCB standard LPS 1175 to SR level 2 and SR level 3.
The Titan range of doors will be the ONLY GRP DOORS available with MULTIPLE LOCK CHOICES including PUSH PAD ESCAPE, other choices will include keyed access with various barrel options there is no requirement for unsightly lock shrouds, pad lockable access will also be available.
Morgan Marine continues to lead the market in its development of both Steel and GRP security rated products, the successful group is the only company to offer it clients a choice of tested and certified materials.



January 2012 - Local Community Charity Donations

The company’s charity committee met in January and agreed that 2012 fund raising would be kept to local individuals and organisations.  The committee agreed to donate money to Dinefwr Hockey Club and Starquest performing arts group.

Dinefwr Hockey Club is based in Ammanford and hosts both junior and senior training sessions to local children.  The Club asked for donations towards its running costs, equipment and coaching, Morgan Marine was pleased to be able to donate £100.00 to the Club.

Starquest is a non profit making performing arts group, which holds workshops for 3 to 11 year olds, some of the children who attend the group are from women’s aid and barnardos.  They welcomed any financial support that the company could give to keep the workshop running and for new equipment.  Morgan Marine was delighted to donate £250.00 to Starquest.


January 2012 - Charity Sky Dive

Martyn Ingram, Managing Director of Morgan Marine and Mark Gregory, Morgan Marine employee presented a cheque for £1,000.00 to Mike Williams, who suffered terrible injuries in the winter of 2009, whilst tree felling in Ammanford.Mike sadly had his leg amputated and suffered quite severe spinal injuries. Mark bravely volunteered to carry out a sky dive at Swansea airport in an attempt to raise money for his friend, Mike.

Mark said “It was an awesome personal experience but definitely well worth doing to help raise the money Mike needs to pay for some of his treatments and requirements, that are not all available on or from the NHS ”. Mark went on to say “Throughout the whole of his ongoing re-habilitation Mike has been an inspiration to everyone and most especially for anyone who comes up against adversities in life, he is a role model. He has not let this experience change him and remains the positive and inspirational person he has always been” Mike currently relies on support to get out and about and has been spending 6 days of the week fairly housebound.

This is soon to change with the help of some available funding enabling Mike to employ a part time carer which will give him an element of independence. Martyn said “‘Meeting Mike was an inspiration, he is a positive person with a unique sense of humour, I could have spent the whole day chatting to him. The company is proud to of been able to contribute a small amount to enable Mark to carry out the jump”.

January 2012 - Jannesha's Smile Fund

Martyn Ingram, Managing Director of Morgan Marine presented Jennesha who is suffering from Retts Syndrome with a cheque for £700.00. The money went to help towards buying a stair climber for Jennesha to enable her to get out and about more. A stair climber is a portable device which enables wheelchair users to negotiate any steps/stairs with the help of just one carer and Jennesha will be able to experience places that were previously inaccessible to her.

Carrean, Jennesha’s Mum started the ‘Smile fund’ to raise money for equipment and treatment that she requires and which is not available on the NHS or other charities. Jennesha currently needs 24 hours care every day with Retts Syndrome, which is a neurological disorder that causes severe and complex disabilities. Martyn said ‘The company is proud to be in a position to be able to make a very small difference in Jennesha’s life”.

October 2011 - Morgan Marine Limited to offer LPCB Inspection Service

Morgan Marine offers an inspection service to ensure products certified under LPS 1175 continue to meet the required Security Rating.
Over time we are aware modifications are made by others which are not necessarily in line with the standard. We can offer site specific inspections, annual and five yearly to suit our clients requirements.


July 2011 - A First for GRP! - Morgan Marine Achieves LPCB for it's GRP Security Enclosures

The Company prides itself on being market innovators! this has been proven again as Morgan Marine Limited is the first to achieved LPCB approval to LPS1175 :Issue 7 for its range of Titan SR2 and SR3 GRP security enclosures.

Design Manager Howell Morse states this is an important milestone in Morgan Marines history and demonstrates our commitment to providing cutting edge solutions to our industry by being the first to market with the Titan range of Security enclosures.

Morgan Marine is the first company to achieve this prestigious award for the manufacture of GRP enclosures.

2010 Morgan Marine GRP LPCB Rated Security Housing

Morgan Marine is proud to announce we have recently passed testing with BRE and have achieved LPCB SR level 2 and 3 with an enhanced GRP construction. We are the only GRP manufacturer to have attained this prestigious status and feel it will revolutionize the way the Water Industry views its security requirements, in giving an option not previously available.

We are not limited to building size and can offer from approx 1m2 upwards to meet whatever our client’s requirements are in size of enclosure.

We are currently completing the certification process with BRE and will be uploading our certificates to the website in the near future.

We also supply steel LPCB rated enclosures via our sister company PSF Wales Ltd who hold SR level 2,3 and 4 for any building size, and both single and double doors.
