Patternmaker/Carpenter
Based at our offices in Llandybie, South West Wales this is a permanent, position reporting to the Production Cell Manager. Hours are 38 per week, Monday to Friday.
An experienced and qualified carpenter, you will have the skills to produce a high standard of meticulous precision work. You will have the ability to interpret 2D CAD drawings and visualize into 3D. With an eye for detail, you will willingly contribute to the overall team and company objectives. You are responsible for ensuring work is delivered safely and to time schedule by following procedures and instructions as well as Health & Safety requirements. Also to ensure general work is undertaken. You will ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, observe and comply with the Company's Health & Safety policies, dress code and use of PPE.
Hourly rate of £8.50 and a competitive benefits package including life insurance, bonus, sick pay and 31 days holiday (pro rata).
Designer
PSF Wales Ltd (part of Morgan GRP), specialises in Steel Housings, Structural Steelwork,
& Design Solutions for Industrial Plants. Our market base covers an infinite number of uses
within the industrial & commercial sectors. PSF Wales Ltd are expert fabricators with many
years of manufacturing experience selling Steel & non-ferrous products to British & global markets.
Working with internal departments & liaising with clients you will design buildings & features,
prepare drawings using AutoCAD, write CNC programs (LanTech) & control & manage projects from design
to manufacture (so planning & expediting skills would be advantageous).
Based at our offices in Llandybie, you will also be required to travel within the UK as & when required
in order to attend site visits, carry out site surveys & participate in project meetings.
The ideal candidate will preferably hold an HND in an Engineering related subject with relevant experience
in a manufacturing/project based environment. Applicants should be computer literate, with good communication
skills, & should be assertive.
You will possess excellent systems knowledge & analytical skills. A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
is desirable. Experience in a manufacturing industry is essential.
